To keep your Macron kit looking and performing at its best for as long as possible, please follow these care instructions carefully. Our primary goal is to support you in keeping your kit in optimal condition.
Wash your garments as soon as possible after use. Leaving kit dirty, damp or bundled together allows stains and odours to set in.
Garments can discolour from mud, grass, liniment, oil or perspiration , these marks are not always fully removable. For heavily soiled items, soak them in lukewarm water with detergent for 1–3 hours before washing.
Machine wash at 30°C (cold).
Higher temperatures can damage the fabric and may cause vinyl, names, numbers, logos or other customisation to peel or crack. We accept no liability for damage caused by washing above 30°C.
Before washing:
- Close all zips
- Undo all buttons
- Flatten collars and cuffs
- Empty pockets and check linings for sharp or loose objects
- Turn garments inside out (this reduces abrasion and protects prints)
- Separate dark colours from light colours
- Do not overload the machine
Do not use bleach.
For stubborn stains, apply a suitable stain remover before washing. Use fabric softener sparingly , excessive use can reduce the performance of technical fabrics.
Do not tumble dry.
Tumble drying increases the risk of shrinkage and can damage or crack printed areas and customisation.
Reshape the garments while they are still damp and hang or lay them flat to dry naturally in the air, away from direct heat sources.
Always turn garments inside out before ironing.
Use the lowest heat setting possible.
Never iron directly over names, numbers, logos, initials or any printed/customised areas.
For best results, use a steam iron or place a clean damp cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid shine or burn marks.
Storage & Extra Tips
Following these simple steps will help maintain the quality, appearance and performance of your garments.
